Frequent questions

1-What should I know before booking my rental motorhome?

It is essential that you know the General Conditions of our motorhome rental service since we value clarity and transparency in our services.

2-What conditions must the driver meet to drive a motorhome?

Anyone over 25 years old and with a type B driving license that is at least 2 years old can take a motorhome. It is essential to communicate the data of all possible drivers at the time the rental contract is signed on the day of departure and provide a photocopy of the corresponding driving licenses as well as the originals for verification.

3-What type of insurance do I contract when renting a motorhome?

The insurance that our fleet has covers damages to third parties without limit of amount, as well as own damages from € 800, which you must provide as a guarantee at the time of signing the contract.

The cost of repairing all the damages caused to the motorhome during the rental period is deducted from the return of the deposit, being € 900 the maximum attributable to the client (except in premium motorhomes whose deposit is € 900). Therefore, to avoid misunderstandings or confusion, it is very important to check the vehicle at the time of delivery and clearly specify the damage found.

In the event of a theft, it will be necessary for the client to report the theft so that the damage caused is covered, excluding the personal belongings of the clients.

The only additional payment to the rental value is the payment of the deposit by bank card, as indicated in point 6 of the General Conditions. The card can be either a debit or a credit card.

5-What happens if a breakdown occurs in the vehicle during my vacation?

Our fleet is constantly renewed to minimize the risk of breakdown, but in case of breakdown we will indicate the official dealer to be able to carry out the corresponding repair. In the event that the fault cannot be repaired immediately, we have travel assistance that will take care of accommodating the occupants of the vehicle in a hotel near the dealership. If the repair requires several days, the assistance will pay for the return of the passengers to their city of origin.

6-What happens if I decide to cancel the reservation?

In case of cancellation of the requested reservation, the following penalties will be applied on the advance or deposit:

With communication of the cancellation before 30 days of the rental: 50%
With communication of the cancellation between 30 and 16 days before the rental: 80%
With communication of the cancellation between 15 days before and the rental date: 100%

*** In the cases of full prepayment of the rent in advance or the advance booking promotion, in which the full rental payment is made as a reservation, the penalties are made on the total rent.

7-What happens if I have an accident with the vehicle?

In the event that any type of fortuitous accident occurs that prevents the continuation of your trip, the contract is automatically terminated, so there is no right to any type of refund of the amount paid or of the remaining days of the rental.

8-What happens if I want to stay more rental days or I am late in returning the motorhome?

If you want to extend the rental of the vehicle beyond the date established in the contract, you must notify us 3 days in advance regarding the end of the rental. Unauthorized delays in delivery or due to force majeure will be penalized with a daily rate equivalent to three times the daily cost applied in the contract.

9-Can I take out an insurance policy to eliminate the cost of the franchise and make it € 0.00?

10-When do I get the amount of the deposit reimbursed and what is the system like?

The deposit is deposited in anticipation of damages. Under normal circumstances, the company reserves a maximum period of 24 hours after the return of the vehicle to inspect the motorhomes. Given the measures of the Anti-Covid protocol, the vehicle will be isolated up to 48 hours before our staff can enter to inspect the interior. However, at the time of return a first external review is carried out on site with the customer. If everything is correct when carrying out the interior inspection 48 hours after the return, we will proceed to return the deposit within 24 hours after the inspection. It will only take more days for the return of the deposit in the event of an incident to be able to draw up the budget, as well as in the case of a claim involving the intervention of insurance companies until they agree. The amount of the deposit is refunded to the same card to which the charge was applied.
